I'm a 20-something photographer recently graduated from Norwich University of the Arts based in and around the Norfolk area, I have a deep passion for light and its effects.

My work has been inspired by the tradition of story-telling and history. My sense of self comes from my passion for the historical and mystical. Therefore history runs through the core of my photography. As well as finding visual inspiration in the works of Paolo Roversi, Todd Hido and Johannes Vermeer, I have also been influenced by the poets Lord Byron and Edgar Allen Poe. My work is unreservedly linked to my emotions and as such deeply, although not obviously, personal. It conveys something of a vulnerability and longing, and is often romantic and melancholy. My recent work is focused on the feeling of something left unsaid or undone, a waiting and wondering feeling and the feeling of never knowing that hangs in the air. I want an inner strength to shine through in the small stories and histories I tell throughout my photography.
